If you’re like me, a Bloody Mary mix straight from the bottle to the glass without some “doctoring” just doesn’t work. You reach into your “spice cabinet” grabbing all the necessary ingredients and start adding a dash of this, a pinch of that, and a splash of this and that, until it’s just right. Well, here’s a terrific Bloody Mary mix you can make in advance called Bloody Cranky…

Bloody Cranky Bloody Mary Mix

In a 2 quart (64 0z) bottle combine the following…

4 1/2 cups Clamato Juice
2 1/2 cups Uncle Dougies Torpedo Juice
1/2 cup Cucumber Juice
1/2 cup Celery Juice
2 teaspoons Lawry’s Seasoned Pepper
2 teaspoons Garlic (Granulated or Powder)
2 teaspoons Celery Salt
3 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce

Combine all ingredients, mix well, and refrigerate.

Bloody Cranky is a mild-medium Bloody Mary mix that can go straight from the bottle to the cocktail. It holds up well with premium vodka and can always be turned up a notch (for those who like a spicier Bloody Mary) by adding a bit more Torpedo Juice or your favorite hot sauce.

Uncle Dougies Torpedo Juice

For all of you Bloody Mary fans, especially those who like them with a hot spicy kick, if you’ve not tried Uncle Dougie’s Torpedo Juice you don’t know what you’re missing. A concentrated liquid that contains 82% fruit juice and all the heat you’ll need for an outstanding Bloody Mary.

I’ve been a fan of the stuff for quite some time. It holds up well with premium vodka, not getting overpowered or watered down. If you want some real heat, use it straight up. If you’re like me, and want a nice kick but not real hot, give this a try…

Premium Vodka
2 parts Uncle Dougie’s Torpedo Juice
2 parts Clamato Juice
Squeeze of Lime
Celery Stalk and Jalapeno Stuffed Olives as garnish

Give that a try! You can always adjust the mix to suit your own taste. I don’t feel the need to add any additional spices as the Torpedo Juice takes care of that for you.

Now I know a few folks that like a “flame thrower” when it comes to a Bloody Mary. Not to worry. For you, courtesy of Uncle Dougie…

Premium Peppered Vodka
Uncle Dougie’s Torpedo Juice (right out of the bottle)
Skewer of Mixed Hot Peppers

If that isn’t hot enough for you, then you have no taste buds.
